HISTORY OF RAMESWARAM TEMPLE (TAMILNADU) INDIAN

Rameshwaram is one of the four. It is located in the Ramnathpuram district of Pawan Deepar in the Tamil Nadu state of southeastern India. It is a Hindu temple, where Lord Shankara is worshiped as Rameshwaram. Legend has it that in the 12th century, the king of Ramnathpuram, O Lanka, built the Pandaya dynasty. It is a Hindu temple with a long corridor in India. According to the Puranas, Lord Rama on the Gandhamardhan hill, on the Sabbath, explained how to get rid of the guilt of genocide by worshiping a Russian sage Munin Shivalinga. Lord Rama ordered the Hanuman to pick up the shibboleth from Mount Kelas. When Hanuman reached the mountain, he saw that there was no Shivalinga. After much searching, the shibboleth was not found. Hanuman meditates and prays to Shankar. Eventually, Hanuman gained a vision of Shiva. Shiva was brought from the temple with him. Due to the delay in reaching Rameshwaram, Mother Sita installed a statue of Shiva in the sand. Before installing the shibboleth brought by Hanuman, Hanuman tried to get rid of the shibboleth installed by his mother Sita. Finally Ram told the Hanuman that you are in such a state as you are trying to remove the Shivalinga set up by Sita. Hanuman realized his mistake. The name of Shivalinga brought by Rama Hanuman was named Hanumadishwar, and the name of Shivalinga established by Sita was Rameswaram.
